More Naga Everyday

We haven't had very good electricity over the past month. And on top of all that, there have been several large earthquakes here over the past several weeks. I haven't been able to get the time or a good enough internet connection to post pictures/send emails/update all of you. Here is a collection of pictures from the past month. There has been A LOT going on and we have been very busy. Youth Camp, Youth Seminar, Sunday morning youth service, Sunday morning service and church in the Hindi colony.

So...here it goes....

Thank you for taking the time to look at this blog and pray for me. I can't tell you how much i appreciate your support and prayers. Need them. This has been my 5th time to India, and my 3rd time to Northeast India. This has definitely been the most fruitful trip i have ever been privileged to have. We have seen many youth commit their lives to Christ as well as major spiritual growth in the youth who already know Christ.

Please continue to pray for me and the remainder of my time here. This upcoming week we have 4 services that we will be leading.

Thank You. So much.

More to Come...

Haven't been able to get online much since being here in India. Hope to be able to post some pics and write more soon. So far, awesome. Been a crazy busy month. Tons of kids. Tons of opportunity to preach the word. Every weekend is packed with youth meetings and services here and in the surrounding areas. Been blessed to work with 6 churches so far. This past Saturday night was a combined youth service in a local village here where i preached. There were around 80+ kids who participated. God definitely did something in their lives. Continue to pray for me, please, as well as the seeds being planted. This upcoming weekend (July 13-15) is a youth camp with a local church here. We are expecting around 80-90 youth to participate. I will be sharing during the weekend 3x as well as assisting with leading worship. Pray for me as i prepare for this upcoming weekend. Following that, I will be going on a exposure trip with EPIC (east praise international church) for 3 days. Pray for the time that we will be spending together as we travel and fellowship. Next weekend, (July 20-22) is a youth seminar in a local village that i have been invited to share at. The theme is 'Being Transformed' and i will be sharing (along with my friend David) 3-4x. We are expecting around 40-50 youth. The following week, i will be traveling with David to other parts of North India for a week to visit some churches that he is connected to. Thank you for reading this. Thank you for your continued prayers. Need them.

Back to India

I will be heading back to India at the beginning of June. Thank you for taking the time to visit this website. I need/appreciate all of your prayers and support as i continue to prepare for the next several months. I will try to update this blog as much as possible (as there is little access to internet where i am staying in India).

Staying Busy

Been a long time since i've sat down to write what has been going on. I guess that is a good thing and means that i'm staying busy. These past couple months, since being back from India, have been busy and fruitful. iTuesday has been growing like never before. We are now seeing an influx of local high school students from all over the city. Here are a couple pics from the past couple months of our new members @ iTuesday.

We organized an event called the 'LOVE CAMPAIGN' where we put together bags filled with all kinds of necessities. We met up before iTuesday (on Valentines Night), broke up into different groups, and drove around the city of New Orleans handing out these bags to the homeless that we were able to find. We made sure to take down all of their information and pray for them on a consistent basis. Please keep them in your prayers.

This past Tuesday night, we assisted in serving the homeless downtown at Firehouse Full Gospel Ministries downtown. We had an awesome turnout and an even awesome-er time hanging out with everyone who showed up. (around 50-70 people)

I have been guest speaking at a local Korean FUMC here in Metairie since being back from India. I have been asked to come on staff at that church as their youth pastor and have accepted the position. I will be presented to the church tomorrow morning. I'm extremely excited about this door that God has opened for me and equally as excited to be hanging out with the kids there.

If that isn't enough updates already, i am 'getting all my ducks in a row' to head back to India the first week in June. More to come on that.

Thank you for keeping up and for keeping me, iTuesday and the kids at the Korean church in your prayers.

Thank You.
